Enhancing the Indian Engineering Industry Ecosystem

Arise by Aricent is a CSR initiative by Aricent Technologies Private Limited, the global leaders in design and engineering technologies. The programme aims to enhance the quality of the engineering sector by providing skill & employability training to engineering graduates from 18 Tier-2 and Tier-3 engineering colleges of Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. With the mandate of upskilling over 3000 engineering students in technical and non-technical skills in Year-II of the programme, the Aricent CSR team in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation has devised multiple opportunities for its employees to engage and interact with the students and acquaint them with the latest technical skills as well as professional skills required by the industry.

The objectives of this volunteering program is to enhance Aricent’s social commitment at all levels in the organization, through participation of employees in various activities and events. Industry experts from Aricent will share their experiences with studentsand  nurture and guide the budding engineers to be better professionals of tomorrow. The volunteering activities comprise of the following:

  • Technical & Non-Technical seminars via Skype or in-person on new emerging technologies like IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Professional attributes etc.
  • Industry exposure visits for students to Aricent campuses in India impart exposure of corporate work culture & enhance their knowledge on the workplace.
  • Events such as sports competitions, Hackathons, quiz competitions etc. organized for students to promote fun & healthy interaction with Aricent employees.
  • Summer internships for students at Aricent campuses to provide them with hands on experience of technical projects.

We invite volunteers from Aricent to participate and share their experiences and knowledge with students and contribute in different ways to the future advancements in the industry.

Where do I find the beneficiaries?

You can start at your home itself.  Start by training your house help, your security guard, driver, press wala and then move towards anyone who you think is struggling with cashless ways of transaction.

What do I teach?

You can teach the beneficiaries on the seven modules of Digital Literacy.

What do I get if I train 2 beneficiaries?

As soon as you train 2 beneficiaries and register them on this portal, you will get a cobranded certificate from NASSCOM Foundation, PCC and PMC.
