Hour of Code

NASSCOM Foundation MyKartavya is collaborating with Microsoft to support the Hour of Code Future Ready Campaign in December 2018 and January 2019!

We have gamified the basics of coding using an all new Minecraft based tutorial: the Minecraft Voyage Aquatic (https://code.org/minecraft), for students to explore and build underwater world using basics of coding.

Together, let’s ensure every child has the opportunity to learn computer science and the skills to succeed in the 21st century.

If you think that you can make change happen by training students on the basics of coding, register below and become an Hour of Code Volunteer.

Special surprise gifts await for high performing volunteers.

You may also refer other volunteers to help with this training.

Can I join this campaign?

Anyone with a will to help towards training more people on basics of coding can join.

I Dont know any computer language? How can I train people?

Just go to  the website https://code.org/minecraft and take up training on  Minecraft Voyage Aquatic. Once  you go  through  the simple  gamified coding skills yourself, you  should be able to train students on basics of coding using the same exercise.

We will conduct some train the trainers sessions for you too in case you require. For that you may write back to us at mykartavya@nasscomfoundation.org

How can i enroll my trainees?

Ideally, this will work as a chain. Your trainees will need to be registered here and pledge to train ten more people. Therefore, once trained your trainees can register here with your reference (name and mobile number).

What do I get if I successfully complete this campaign?

You will be getting a MyKartavya certificate once we have 10 people registered with your reference.
