Steps to Follow for Volunteers

Thank you for registering towards NASSCOM Foundation’s MyKartavya Program. You have taken the first step towards changing India for the better. The next few Steps are given below:

  1. Find a beneficiary
This could be anyone who is struggling with cashless transactions. Eg: Your Househelp, your driver, security guard, your nearest kirana store etc.
  2. Ask him / her politely
Start by asking how much time he / she spends in an ATM line. Tell them that it could be utilized for better things. Ask them, if they use a smart phone or a basic phone and can you teach them how to transact without cash.
  3. Figure out what cashless tool will be best suited to their needs
This is an important step. If a person is using a smart phone and has some access to WiFi, then the best option is eWallets or UPI. If he uses a basic phone, then the best option is USSD. If he doesn’t have a phone, then one needs to train him on Aadhar enabled payment solutions.
  4.  Train the beneficiary
As this training involves finances and no one wants to take a risk, make sure that you know the tool you are training them on completely. In case you have some doubts, the training material on this website will help you clear them. Train the beneficiary to his/her utmost content.
  5. Register the trained beneficiary below
Once trained, the beneficiary can be registered in the below form.

Once you have trained all 10 beneficiaries you will stand to get a NASSCOM Foundation certificate.
